Never Stop Believing in Your People

I was inspired by a book that was given to me from one of my mentor’s Art Jonak. Art gave me a book at our company convention about 2 years ago. It was called Coach by Art Williams. This book shared Leadership skills that has changed my life and my career. Here is what I live by everyday and teach to others so that they can develop into fine leaders for others to follow. I am here to help you in Any way I can.

“The only sure way for your people to lose is if they give up. Your lack of encouragement should never be the reason a person quits. A leader must always keep believing in people, no matter what.”

No. 1 – Have confidence in your people.

* See each person as a winner.
* Expect success from everyone.
* Let people know you think they can win.

No. 2 – Recognize each accomplishment, no matter how small.

* Show people that you know what they do.
* Make each small accomplishment seem major – it really is.
* Make your praise public – people love to be recognized among their peers.

No. 3 – Sell the dream, again.

* Never think you can stop “selling the dream.”
* People need to be constantly reminded of the rewards of their hard work.
* Encourage people to talk about their personal goals and dreams. (You could have a “dream” session and ask each person to tell his personal “success dream.”)

No. 4 – Don’t give up on people when they make mistakes.

* Live with them through the tough times, as well as the easy times.
* Care about each person as an individual.
* Allow people to learn from their mistakes. Never criticize.

AND…Never be guilty of giving up AS A LEADER.

How to Recruit (Sponsor) the Best Prospects.

Recruit, boy do I dislike that word.
I prefer to use Sponsor, so let’s begin with the difference.

When someone speaks of recruiting, I have seen what this word means.
It means to put someone in a business downline and leaving them to fend  for themselves. Leaving them helpless.

Sponsoring on the other hand is what I do. I sponsor a person in my organization and I teach them HOW to build a business. From the ground up. It is about being there throughout their journey to the top.

One of the biggest mistakes beginners make, is thinking that
sponsoring is a one-shot, all-or-nothing event.  Actually, it’s a
process. A Teaching and Mentoring Process. It is ONGOING and this is a good thing. This mean you have built a good friendship with someone you will be in business with forever.

Your goal shouldn’t be to sell or “close” anyone, but rather to
give the prospect enough information, so they can make the best
decision for them. Only sponsor people whom you would like to spend a one month cruise with.

Unlike sales, where often you are taught to close people,
in Network Marketing we are looking for people motivated
enough to take action themselves. People with a desire for more
out of life.

It’s not about convincing people or changing their beliefs, as much
as it is about finding the people who are open to what you have.
It is a sorting process, where the prospect indicates their level
of interest. We are only looking for the volunteers who are coachable.
If someone gives many excuses as to why they haven’t read the material then these are NOT good prospects. Move on.

What we offer is freedom. Never lose the vision of that. It is helping
others to achieve their dreams and goals.

Of course, the first question that comes up is when speaking with a prospect is where do you find these people? This is where the Mentoring and Teaching comes into play. How to Become a Superhero in MLM.

Just like Batman and WonderWomen, I needed to learn some skills. They both had to tap into their inner power and learn how to use it. We are NO different. We all have Inner Power and Talents that was instilled into us since birth. We just have to learn how to find that again.

We have been recommending and promoting since we were age 5 and Wonder Woman and Batman was probably around back then too. Well they were for me. So finding your hidden talent and applying some basic skills to it, you too can be earning a residual income today, just like these two are.

So to become a Super Hero in Network Marketing or MLM, you need to tap into your hidden talent and learning the skills that my team can show you to reach your Financial Freedom. What ever that may be. You can be living the lifestyle of your choice.

First off you need to make sure you are coachable, then find the right company for you, learn some skills, get into the social society and build relationships. By doing this in Social networks you are building the relationships that will last a lifetime. Remember that people buy from people they know, like and trust. Don’t YOU? Network Marketers Formula For Success

Do you know what the formula is for Success in Network Marketing?

To Get a Large Group of People, doing a Few Simple things, Over a consistant Period of time.

Print this out and read it everyday. Read that and let it sink in.

So How do you get a Large Group of People? Well you have to have a Duplicatable Proven System in place so that everyone you sponsor into your business can duplicate the same things you do. You build the leaders from within your team. They will duplicate what you do and build that large group of people with you.  NOBODY can build it alone.

Doing a few simple things is next.  Yes simple to do and simple not to do. The Choice is YOURS.  Set goals, committ to learning a new skill, read a good book or listen to a CD that will help you to become that person that people will want to follow. Simple things like talking to people, learning how to advertise and brand yourself online and offline. Remember YOU ARE in business for yourself, but NOT By yourself.

Next is over a Consistant Period of Time…. You have to give yourself time as well as your business time to develop. You have to develop first and then develop leaders within your team. It doesn’t happen overnight. Having your team doing simple things on a daily basis, will produce the results over time.

Once I got this understanding in my head, I began to apply what it meant and my results today are consistant with what I do . It is also like the slight edge by Jeff Olson. The little things done everyday will produce the end results you are looking for. You MUST have that Duplicatable System in place for everything else to work together.

So remember Your Formula for Success , is to get a Large Group of People, Doing a Few Simple things, Over a Consistant Period of Time. Do this and YOU Can OWN Your Life! I Do!

How to Build a Successful Team

Over the past 10 years of trying to figure out how to build a successful team in my organization, here are some key points I have written that has helped me.

Once you’ve set a goal for yourself as a leader-whether it is to create your own organization, build a church, etc.  the challenge is to find good people to help you accomplish that goal. Gathering a successful team of people is not only helpful, it’s necessary.

So to guide you in picking the right people, I’m going to share with you some techniques I use to build my team.

1. Check each prospects history. That’s the most obvious step. What have they done, their experience.

2. Check the person’s interest level. If they are interested, they are probably a good prospect. Sometimes people can fake their interest, so arrange a conversation, and try to gauge their interest level to the best of Your Ability. To help you learn this you can also listen in on a skills call we do on Personalities. Email me for a copy of this.

3. Check the prospect’s responses. A response tells you a lot about someone’s integrity, character, and skills. Listen for things like….” Well I don’t have time to make the calls.” or ” I only have 10 min.” … ” It takes that long?”, “I’ll have to work two evenings a week and Saturdays?” You can’t ignore these clues. A person’s responses are a good indication of his or her character and of how hard he or she will work. Our attitudes reflect what is on the inside, and eventually our insides show.

4. Check results. The name of the game is results. How else can we effectively see an individual’s performance? By the results they produce.

There are two types of results to look for.

a. Activity results. Seeing what a person does on a weekly basis will produce the  Activity results we look for.

b. Second Result is productivity.  What is it that they produce not only in action steps and talking with people, but also in the following up with people. This is a major part of building. Follow up.

Here is an Important part of leadership: Be up front with your team as to what you expect them to produce.

Instincts play a major role. And your instincts will improve every time you go through the process. Remember, building a good team will be one of your most challenging tasks as a leader. It will reap you multiple rewards for a long time to come.

Juggling Multiple Streams of Outgo?

To Borrow a line from Dr. Phil, ” How’s THAT Working for YOU?”

The vast majority of Networkers who get convinced of the Brilliance of the idea that they need multiple streams of income wind up instead with multiple streams of outgo.

Even in today’s market while trying to build a home business, people are still buying traffic, leads and spending money they really don’t have. Do you feel that sometimes you are just spinning your wheels? If so, then you need to STOP! STOP the insanity of trying to work a J-O-B,  chase the kids, and work three or four online businesses that has you juggling yourself into debt.

Focus Until your Eyes Cross on ONE, yes ONE program or opportunity that has the support in place and the system for you to have success.  A system that allows you to be YOU, One that teaches you HOW to build A business. Then once this one is going strong, is when you would consider looking at another opportunity, Just makes sense to me.

Go Ahead and Argue with Me… I can hear it now. You’re Wrong, Judith. These internet guy’s make a fortune, and they don’t focus. Some promote dozens of Affiliate programs and make a good income from them. Yes some do, however the same question comes to you.  How’s that working for YOU?  Exactly. Think about it,  Before you go jumping into program after program, find out how many people you will need to have in each business to make the desired income from that opportunity.  Get Plugged into a system that will  Teach you  How to Think, Not What to Think.

How to Visualize YOUR Success.

I wanted to share some basics on Visualization. I heard alot in this industry about visualization and how this can be an important part in one’s success.

We all desire to be successful however if we don’t believe we deserve success it will be hard to visualize what success would be like. So start by believing in YOU and the rest will make some sense.

I have been listening to Richard Brooke’s Mach II with your Hair on Fire CD and it is Incredible. Richard shares so much in how he reached the level that he is at today. Imagine hoping in your own private jet to get to work. WoW!! But then again his work is everywhere.

Here is what I have learned that I need to focus on in order to begin to master the art of visualization.

1) All Phrases are Positive
whatever you speak about has to be positive, no negitivity in at all.

2) All Phrases are Present Tense.
speak your vision in the present tense with positive words.

3) Phrases describing you are in the first person
speaking of your vision beginning with I or we

4) Clarity gives the vision POWER!
give the details of your vision.

5) Emotions, tones and energy provide clarity to your vision.

It only takes a moment to Motivate. Keep it Positive.

So get clear on your vision and put emotions and details with it. See it clearly enough to speak your vision into reality.
