Social Media has really become a way to build relationships online. Whether is is Facebook, Myspace, or any Other Media site to get to know people.  There is a Science to learning how to effectively use these sites to maximize your return on the time you invested in them.

One thing I have learned is that whatever you are building, whether it is a product driven company or a service company you want to make sure you have a main page to bring people or clients back too. I like to call it my central hub. The Main page. In this process everyone will come back to your main page and get to read more about YOU and what you can do to help someone. Make sure you also have a contact page with your details on it so people can call you.

When wanting to build your business through social media networking sites, it is about getting to know people. Don’t just go an add people to your friends list without reading their profiles. It is important to know who you are building a relationship with. They will also appreciate that you took the time to get to know them.

Also when you are bringing people back to your central hub, you will want to have resources on your page that will keep your readers coming back. Stay consistant with posting to your hub and delivering good content to your readers. Be helpful and you will find that people will begin to contact you by phone and or email for help. It is truly about providing help to people.
