MLM Prospect, But Employee Mindset

I saw a comment from a successful internet marketer this week that I think is very important to consistently remind yourself of.

Almost everybody we talk to about network marketing is an employee. They come from an employee mindset. Very few are actually business owners.

The employee mindset is: “OK. I really want to be successful on my own. I don’t want to have a boss. I want to make more money. What do I do?”

The employee mindset is NOT: “OK. I’m going to work this out for myself and come up with my own business plan.”

And the point this guy was making is, the most important word when you are talking to a prospect is “system.”

You’ve got to give them a step-by-step system. They have to see a system that can work for them. You have to show them how it has worked for others, and you have to show them, step-by-step, exactly what they will do with it.

But it’s more than just that. Your prospect not only has the opportunity to use a system that is tested and proven to work, but they also have the opportunity to talk to their prospects about that tested, proven system – which every prospect needs and wants. It’s really important. That is exactly what this guy is talking about.

You need to hammer prospects about the system. I mean, REALLY hammer them on this. Most prospects think, “Oh, this company has a great product. That’s what I need.” Or, “Oh, I’m personally sponsored by the heavy hitter. That’s what I need.” Or, “It’s been proven that this compensation plan pays out 80%, and over 90% of the people who use it are successful.”

NO NO NO

I would recommend that Most prospects use the Success In 10 Steps ebook to have success, but some won’t. Everybody knows that a new person needs a tested, proven system to start with. If you can find a better, tested proven system, fine. I have used this one for 5 years, and it constantly produces the targeted leads I want.

That’s what those with the “employee mindset” need more than anything – good prospects to talk to. Just getting a few really targeted prospects a week can change their lives.

System? Yes. Use it. And talk to your prospects about it. Believe me, they know they need it.

To build your own big income in M-L-M, the people you sponsor will need a constant stream of hot prospects. Make sure you have a Proven Duplicatable System in place. It will make all the difference in your success.

How to Become a Superhero in MLM.

Just like Batman and WonderWomen, I needed to learn some skills. They both had to tap into their inner power and learn how to use it. We are NO different. We all have Inner Power and Talents that was instilled into us since birth. We just have to learn how to find that again.

We have been recommending and promoting since we were age 5 and Wonder Woman and Batman was probably around back then too. Well they were for me. So finding your hidden talent and applying some basic skills to it, you too can be earning a residual income today, just like these two are.

Juggling Multiple Streams of Outgo?

To Borrow a line from Dr. Phil, ” How’s THAT Working for YOU?”

The vast majority of Networkers who get convinced of the Brilliance of the idea that they need multiple streams of income wind up instead with multiple streams of outgo.

Even in today’s market while trying to build a home business, people are still buying traffic, leads and spending money they really don’t have. Do you feel that sometimes you are just spinning your wheels? If so, then you need to STOP! STOP the insanity of trying to work a J-O-B,  chase the kids, and work three or four online businesses that has you juggling yourself into debt.

Focus Until your Eyes Cross on ONE, yes ONE program or opportunity that has the support in place and the system for you to have success.  A system that allows you to be YOU, One that teaches you HOW to build A business. Then once this one is going strong, is when you would consider looking at another opportunity, Just makes sense to me.

Go Ahead and Argue with Me… I can hear it now. You’re Wrong, Judith. These internet guy’s make a fortune, and they don’t focus. Some promote dozens of Affiliate programs and make a good income from them. Yes some do, however the same question comes to you.  How’s that working for YOU?  Exactly. Think about it,  Before you go jumping into program after program, find out how many people you will need to have in each business to make the desired income from that opportunity.  Get Plugged into a system that will  Teach you  How to Think, Not What to Think.

How to Evaluate 5 Pillars Companies

When choosing the right Company to build and build a legacy income to leave for your children’s , children. You must evaluate companies according to these 5 key ingredients. If one is missing YOU will struggle and it will take along time to see any results.

If you have been struggling in the past then take these 5 Pillars and see if your business is missing any of them. If it is, correct them and build it big!

Pillar #1.  Company Management Experience W/ Integrity.

Leadership. Every time we have ever seen a
company or down-line explode and go away, it does so
because of the same 2 reasons:  GREED and EGO.

True leaders are the Mentors with the Servant’s Heart.
It’s never about the money. No Money Focus = No
Greed. Build People and People will build the business.

People are people. They are not a number. They have goals,
dreams & desires. Network Marketing is a teaching & Mentoring
business.

Pillar #2. Products

Product. In this industry if your product is
not remarkable, you are invisible.

You need a product people will buy even with no
compensation plan. You need a system for your people to
retail product to the consumer. Wal-Mart is the world’s
largest retail corporation. How big would their parking
lot need to be if they only sold to their employees? In
network Marketing you have to retail to sponsor.

Pillar #3.  Timing!

Timing. When the timing is right, NON – Network
Marketers will take you product to the marketplace. Like
the skyscraper, the timing means NOW. Not 10 years
earlier. Not 10 years later. I’ll take timing over hard
work every time.

Millionaires have been made in this industry JUST because
of timing alone. Nothing else.

So how can you gauge the timing?

It’s not easy, but here are some tips:

1. You’ll waste a lot of time, money & energy getting in
too early. because of large percentage of these companies
fail in the first year or two.

2. You’ll waste a lot of time, money & energy getting in
too late. If the company is a household naem, its momentum
growth period occurred years ago. You’re fighting a real uphill
financial battle to start new in companies like this.

3. You want to get in AFTER a company has proven it has
staying power (maybe 3-5 years), but BEFORE its momentum
growth period (in general, the time it takes a company to
go from  $100,*000,000 to $500,*000,000 a year). If you can
find a company like this, and which also has the other
4 pillars in place, some fun work will give you the
chance to ride a momentum wave to wealth.

Pillar #4.  Compensation Plan

Compensation. You need a compensation plan that
will work for the part-timer as well as the full-timer who
wants unlimited income.

35% of the population are nurturers. They need a plan
where they can help the most people, putting people under
people under people to nurture and help those people.

15% of the population just want to have fun. They need a
plan that is fast-paced, exciting, with fast-start money.

35% of the population are detailed-oriented
numbers-crunchers. They need to see unlimited income in
the leadership position.

15% of the population is all about money. They want to
make more money than anybody else. They want a compensation
plan that realistically offers Unlimited Income. They will
leave you for more money.

Pillar #5.  Proven Duplicatable System

A Tested, proven, duplicatable system for
success.

Everyone you sponsor and everyone they sponsor needs a
step by step system ot get off to a fast start: on-line
off-line, one on one, cold market, warm market, retailing
recruiting, becoming a mentor to their personally
sponsored people.

Don’t join a group unless they have such a system in
place.

Crafting Your Story – Your Success Homework

Here is the formula for Crafting Your Story. This is Your Story you will share with others who ask.  Here are the steps to begin writing.

1. Write Who you Are.
2. What’s Your Background.
3. What are the current limitations of your current life…..that your biz opportunity can solve for you.

Anyone on Your team can craft their story.  This is something you have to begin with first and then script it so that you can practice it to where is flows naturally. Don’t write something that your not. Let this be from your heart and real. (People today are rather smart and can tell when it is fake or not.)   Real people join Real people.

This allows people to join you and follow the Formula for Success and duplicates down your entire organization.

Develope your story through working through Leadership.

Write your story and practice it with your Leaders, share each others story and perfect it so it comes across naturally. Practice makes perfect. Work through helping your team to craft their story until they are good at it and then we can talk about crafting a  1 min presentation. Your Story should be around 30 seconds or so, so get crafting and I look forward to sharing more on presenting.

Okay so now your Steps-to-Success Assignment :

1. Craft It: Work with your line of sponsorship and craft your business story.
2.  Script It: Write down your business story
3. Practice It:  With your Upline, friends, family, etc
4. Share It: With your Prospects and your Downlines Prospects
5. Teach It: This is important. Assist your Team Members in crafting their stories and duplicating this downline, It is that important.

How Do I write Good Ad Copy?

I have read alot of great copywriters info on writing a good article. However it never really seemed to be me…. Sounds familiar?

Well I have a very Good Friend that I met about 6 maybe even 7 years ago. His name was Dave Cones. He was able to teach me so many things to implement into my business. One of them was how to write effective Ad copy.

I used the information he shared on many tele-seminar calls he did through the Mentoring For Free System. Yes all for FREE. Those that learned from him went on to become Great Writers and they too are now sharing what they have learned. Gotta Love it. Passing it On!

Here is a tip for ya. When writing articles or ad copy, write from the heart and write what you know. You don’t have to be an expert to begin. Just begin.

The object is the ability to convey your message to prospects in such a way that they are motivated to take the next step. This is the key. Getting people to take the next step.

Regardless of  your writing ability there is one thing that must be done over and over again, In Marketing it is COPY, COPY, COPY and then TEST, TEST, TEST,  COPY, COPY, TEST, TEST.

Yes this does sound repetitious however by writing ads this way you will pull people to you who will want to buy from you. This is what sets you apart from the masses who are just throwing their info out there and hoping someone will bite. Perfect what you do and you will attract the write buyers or partners into your business.

Why do you wish to get into Network Marketing?

Did You Know That Your Why is Your Road Map to Your Success?

You must learn how to drill down into the ‘core’ of your heart and uncover your WHY (Core Desire) for this is the switch to that unstoppable Conquering Force that resides within you.

We have a foolproof way for people to accurately identify their “WHY” .  If you have a 60 on the Why (Core Desire) scale then you will get to 60% of your Goal.  The day that there is an obstacle bigger than your Why (Core Desire) it will stop you as surely as a dam stops the water from flowing.

To discover your WHY (Core Desire), you must pay very close attention to your TRUE feelings that you experience as you ask yourself two basic questions.

The first question gets you started toward identifying your Why (Core Desire) and the first answer or two is rarely the real answer.

1: ‘What Would I Like to Have That I Don’t Currently Have?’

The Second Question Really Gives You Your Why (Core Desire):

2: ‘If I Had That, What Would That Give Me That I Don’t Already Have?’

Keep asking yourself that after each answer until you get to your Why (Core Desire).  You will know when you discover your Core Desire because it is always accompanied by an intense, (sometimes emotional), reaction.  You will know it when it happens.  Whys (Core Desires) are the only reason people succeed at anything.

Master this, and you will live a life full of joy and satisfaction.

Please do this exercise for yourself and your family. You will see that not only will your business begin to grow, but so will your life. How to Market Yourself Offline & Online

Wow! What a day I had today. Been to two meetup meetings here locally, had my taxes done, played with my boy’s and got caught up with online advertising.  Boy am I tired. ;-)

I was at my first meetup meeting and it was going well. The organizer was sharing a video of Twitter which I already new about and so I watch just to participate. I noticed that many of the ladies there did NOT know what that was. Some even stated that they did not even want an internet presence so they felt like they wasted their time.

I feel for them because there are so many people offline that really are afraid of the internet and just want to build the old fashion way. It all works if you know what you want to do.

The second meetup meeting was this evening and it was more of a social meeting. We met at a local Mexican Restaurant and had a few cocktails and really got to know people. ( I see why now Tom “Big Al” Schreiter loves meeting over food) more relaxing.

This setting was relaxing and we spent time getting to know people and sharing business cards or emails. See local meetings are great. It is all about referring people to one another for products or services. It isn’t about going to meetings or hosting your own meeting just to recruit others into it.

I would suggest to anyone who is looking to begin marketing themselves offline to get to a local meetup meeting that helps to send people to you. Referral marketing. Have biz cards, flyers and a local meeting place that people will know you are there and attend regularly. Also have a blog for directing people to you and your local community so that the referral system works for you.

Just my thoughts on sharing your business with others and having others share theirs with you. There is no right or wrong way of building a business, you just have to be around people who have your best interest at heart.
